Description
Miles of Salt and Thunder

Created in Acrylic on canvas, this work celebrates the raw spirit of beach racing. Two 1932 Ford Hot Rods roar across the 3.7 miles of Famara beach, caught in a dramatic moment where late sunlight pierces through storm clouds, igniting the spray and the salt.

Inspired by legendary races like Pendine Sands or Pismo Beach, the technical focus was on the reflections and the movement: the cars mirror themselves on the wet sand while the Risco stands silent in the background. It is a tribute to mechanical courage and the untamed beauty of the Atlantic coast—a piece where the "Go Fast" culture meets the timeless energy of the island.

The original work is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.

PACKAGING & SHIPPING
Our packaging choices aim to protect the products, reduce environmental impact, and use the best local materials available.

Shipping of original artworks

Original artworks on paper are protected by light tissue paper on both sides. We aim to ship these flat whenever possible; depending on their size, they are packed and protected in rigid cardboard boxes or carefully rolled in sturdy tubes.
Artworks on canvas can be shipped flat with their wooden frame, reinforced at the corners and protected by thick cardboard on both sides. For larger dimensions (or at the customer's discretion), the canvas is removed from its stretcher bars and shipped in a heavy-duty cardboard tube to optimize both shipping costs and logistics.
