Description

In "Harley" the gaze stops where the mechanical heart beats.
More than a portrait of a motorcycle, this close-up is an investigation into matter: the sharp contrast between the deep shadows of the engine block and the blinding reflections of the finishes. I chose to isolate the V-Twin engine, eliminating everything else, to transform a road icon into an object of pure contemplation.

The technical challenge was taming the graphite to do justice to such diverse surfaces. From the cylinder fins to the bolts, every detail is a play of reflected light that seeks to simulate the brilliance of chrome and its ability to distort the surrounding world. There is no exhaust noise or heat from the metal, but the density of the chiaroscuro tries to restore that sense of latent power and mechanical pride that every rider knows well.

A tribute to those who don’t see in a Harley just a collection of bolts, but the very symbol of individuality and the pursuit of freedom on two wheels.
