The Spirit of the Open Road
In this horizontal composition, the 1966 Ford Mustang takes center stage against the most iconic landscape of the American West: the road to Monument Valley. It is a tribute to the freedom of the Great American Road Trip, where the red of the car and the provocative spirit of the pin-up merge with the warm dust of the desert.

The challenge in this piece was the landscape: rendering the hazy distance of the sandstone buttes and the long, vanishing perspective of the asphalt to create a sense of infinite space. Every detail on the Mustang and the figure has been treated with the same manual precision, ensuring that the "hand-made" feel of the artwork remains central.
